The purpose of this two-day instructor development class is to share knowledge gained through over 26 years of training women in law enforcement internationally at every level. The primary goal is to; provide realities, concepts, and approaches that will assist instructors in enhancing their female shooter’s performance. The class is based on an open format with a 360 degree information sharing.

Focus areas include:

• How a female’s physiology plays a role in the shooting process
• Ergonomic aides/technologies currently available to assist the smaller stature officer
• Communication and social issues that can impact the learning environment
• Discuss and evaluate creative and effective ways of using peer coaching
• Introducing competition into their training
• Proven techniques to improve marksmanship on various firearm platforms
• The new learner and the future of training

Participants Requirements:

• Wrap-around, shatter-resistant eye protection
• Ball cap or hat with bill
• Hearing protection
• Full duty belt and all duty equipment
• Body armor is required every day
• 100-150 rounds of pistol ammunition
• Shotgun 15 rounds 00 Buck or light load
• Patrol rifle and 100 rounds
