Event Description:
Day 1: Defensive measures for the smaller statured officer. Hands-on problem-solving defensive tactics to increase performance and decrease officer injury.
Day 2: Officer Down: Self Help/Buddy Care and Rescue-Team building, hands-on officer down rescue techniques, practical exercises, and scenario-based training exercises.
Day 3: Survival Pistol- Individual and team skill building exercises with focus on balancing speed and accuracy and movement.

Lou Ann Hamblin retired after 22 years of police service Lou Ann Hamblin specializes in training female officers having trained almost 8000 women in pistol alone and is a certified firearms and defensive tactics instructor in a variety of disciplines. She is a Team One Network adjunct instructor and Master Pistol Instructor through H/K. Over the last 32 years Lou Ann has instructed internationally in the areas of instructor development, training for specialty units and female police officer’s performance improvement and professional development including the Kuwaiti Female Special Forces and Ford Motor Company E.P. Teams. Beverly Price retired from the Burnsville Police Department after serving for 27 years. During her service with Burnsville Police, she worked in different divisions of the department. She has worked in Crime Prevention, Bike Patrol, Background Investigator, Multi-Housing, School Resource Officer, and assisted with the Street Crimes Unit. She has taught in-service defensive tactics and firearms and has served as an FTO for her agency. Beverly is a Medal of Valor recipient honored by her agency for her heroic efforts in an officer involved shooting incident. Capt. Dawn Reisinger has been a certified law enforcement officer in the State of Florida since 2000. She is currently employed with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office in Tampa, FL. Dawn’s police experience includes duties as a Field Training Officer and is also assigned to the department’s training division which includes training newly hired cadets as well as the highly acclaimed SOT (Sheriff’s Orientation Training) which is a highly structured two week live in program designed to introduce the sheriff’s office mission and values, firearms and physical skills training to new cadets. Dawn’s K-9 partner “Keeper” brings warm and fuzzies to her agency and her community. Commander Toni Weinbeck has been a police officer with the City of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, since 2004. As an Inspector she is currently assigned to the patrol division, training, and K-9. Toni has held the position of patrol officer, school resource officer, and community liaison officer working with at-risk youth in the community Toni has a third-degree black belt in Tang Soo Do Toni has also trained in Kali (a Pilipino weapons system) for 3 years, Kenpo (a Chinese striking art), Muay Thai (a Thai kickboxing system) and currently trains in Krav Maga. She is also a defensive tactics instructor with certifications in LOCKUP, LVNR, OC, and PPCT. She has also co-owned and operated two martial arts studios.
